What you'll do

  • Maintain and update the SRHE website, working with the Creative Lead on design
  • Manage hosting, domain, and related technical infrastructure
  • Set up and maintain tools used by the volunteer team (e.g. email, file storage, forms)
  • Support other leads with the technical aspects of their work

Essential criteria

  • Practical experience building or maintaining websites
  • Comfortable working independently to solve technical problems on a small budget
  • An understanding of basic web security and data protection good practice

Desirable criteria

  • Experience with Cloudflare or similar hosting/CDN platforms
  • Front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
No direct contact with young people. This role does not involve direct contact with children or vulnerable adults, so an enhanced DBS check is not required. Safeguarding training is still mandatory for every SRHE volunteer.
