What you'll do

  • Support and track SRHE's registration as a Community Interest Company
  • Maintain governance documentation, including policies and meeting records
  • Monitor SRHE's compliance with relevant legal and regulatory obligations
  • Work with the Data Protection Officer and Safeguarding Officer on related policy areas

Essential criteria

  • Understanding of UK non-profit, CIC, or charity governance
  • High attention to detail, particularly with legal and policy documentation
  • Comfortable working in an organisation that is still being formally established

Desirable criteria

  • A legal, governance, or company secretarial background
  • Experience supporting CIC or charity registration processes
No direct contact with young people. This role does not involve direct contact with children or vulnerable adults, so an enhanced DBS check is not required. Safeguarding training is still mandatory for every SRHE volunteer.
